Fairy Glen
When you hear the name Fairy Glen, often its associated with Scotland. Though it shares the same name, this one is situated on the edge of Snowdonia, North Wales. Timing is a crucial element in the making of this image as the river is at the bottom of a steep narrow gorge. Only when the sun is high and in alignment do the sides come out of deep shadow.
Forrest Falls
Ystradfellte in the Brecon Beacons is the home of Welsh waterfall country. There are four main falls on the route I took which includes Sgwd y Pannwr, a fifty foot waterfall which can be walked behind with considerable ease. Getting to those falls can be a bit of a challenge owing to long and sometimes steep ascents and descents. If you have the opportunity to pay a visit, do follow the marked routes as veering off, unless you know the area well, can be dangerous.
